This Grant is intended to support projects and activities focussed on children,the elderly, community, conservation, counselling or education.
Background:
This grant is possible thanks to the generosity of the family of Cynthia Collier. Cynthia grew up in rural New Zealand, firstly as a child in the Rangitikei/Manawatu Area and then for over 50 years of her adult life on Wakarua Station near Taihape. Cynthia was a passionate supporter of her community and the work of Rural Women New Zealand.
The following must be included with the application:
– An outline of the project and expected benefits
– A budget for the overall project with quotes and/or estimates
– Income already secured for the project including any contribution from the applicant
– A list of applications to other funding sources including the amount applied for
– A reference from, and contact details for, an independent individual or organisation who is suitably qualified to provide support for the application
– Most recent annual balance sheet
– Charities Commission number (if applicable).
Applications close 30th April.
One Grant of $5000 will be made per annum for the next three years, with the first grant being made in 2024.
