Waipa Provincial recently held a very successful Brains and Babies event to mark the International Day of Rural Women in Hamilton. Rachael Dean says everyone ‘raved about the presenters’, who proved a perfect combination!
Donna Booth, Dr Alison Barrett and Carol Bartle, founders of NUMB (Neonatal Unity for Mothers and Babies), spoke in the morning, followed by Nathan Mikare-Wallis of the Brainwave Trust in the afternoon. Rachael says “Nathan’s [presentation] followed on perfectly from the morning presentation and in fact asked questions of the morning presenters as part of his session. There was quite a lot of interaction between presenter and attendees with questions being asked throughout.”
Congratulations to the ladies from Waipa Provincial on a great event!
