Fun Run / Walk – Pat Farry Rural Health Education Trust

January 24, 2014 10:52 pm

Noeline, Kiera, Jackie, Belinda and friends will be up early on 15 March, pulling on their walking shoes, and taking part in the annual Pat Farry Rural Health Education Trust Fun Run/Walk, being held in Wellington this year.

It’s all for a great cause. The run/walk raises funds for the Trust which provides scholarships for rural GPs to further their training overseas, as well as continuing the great work of the late Dr Pat Farry in highlighting the importance and value of rural GPs.
Last year a group of our members took part in the fun run/walk in Rotorua, where it was held as part of the annual Rural GP Network Conference.
If you’d like to support us in our fundraising for this great cause, you can go online to
Givealittle and make a donation.
