Entries Open For Rural Women Journalism Award 2013

August 7, 2013 10:50 pm

Calling all rural journalists! ¬† ¬†Entries are now open for the Rural Women NZ Journalism Award 2013. ¬†Pictured here is last year’s winner, Jackie Harrigan, editor of Young Country, receiving her Award from our National President, Liz Evans.

The award is run in conjunction with the Guild of Agricultural Journalists and Communicators, and recognises the important contribution women make, and have always made, to rural communities.

If you’ve written / broadcast two pieces of work loosely based on the theme ‘rural women making a difference’ in the last twelve months (to 31 August), you’ll be eligible to enter, and we’d be delighted if you did.

The Award will be presented at the Guild’s annual dinner in Wellington on 18 October.

Entries close 10 September 2013.
