Aftersocks™ was conceived by Cantabrians Justine and Jo Ottey in conjunction with Rural Women New Zealand, following the 2010/2011 Canterbury earthquakes. By 2012 the Aftersocks™ campaign had donated over $130,000 to the Christchurch Mayoral Fund to support earthquake victims.
To date over 21,000 pairs of socks have been sold.
