ACC Wants Your Opinion

July 3, 2014 10:53 pm

Are you a grain, sheep and beef or dairy farmer, manager or farm worker who’s had experience with ACC?

Hold the 14 – 31 July for an open conversation with ACC to tell them how it really is.

ACC wants to give farmers the opportunity to provide input into solutions for reducing injury and time off work. Including:

  • What ACC is doing well and not so well (they are prepared for the truth).
  • What information you have to share to gain a better understanding of the stress-points of farming jobs.

Pub events will be held in each area with up to six people per event – all refreshments provided.

ACC would also like to meet with 10 people at work (2-3 hours). They welcome representatives from Rural Women NZ and Federated Farmers.

ACC hopes this project will help ACC to do a better job through collaboration and shared experiences.

Your input in the creation of injury prevention and injury management initiatives that work for farmers will be a valuable contribution.

ACC will be in Ashburton district – 22, 23 and 24 July; North Island – Hastings, south Taranaki and down to Wairarapa/Manawatu – 15,16, 17 and 18 July

Please call or email Lisa Jones at ACC to organise a date and time that works for you, T: 04 5605264 or E: [email protected].
